Chances are you’re familiar with your personality, but what about your money personality?  This short quiz will sort your answers about financial habits into groups labeled ‘Money Personalities.’  You may find your spending habits to be a mix of personalities but this quiz simply takes into account which money personality you most reflect.  It’s less than scientific so don’t take your results too seriously but use the opportunity to think about the following questions:

• How often do you think about your spending habits?  Do they ever evoke feelings of guilt?
• Does your household file your own taxes or let a professional take care of it?
• How long do you think about a purchase grater than $100?  How do you evaluate the purchase’s necessity?
• In what situations are you uncomfortable with talking about money?
• Do you or members of your household share the amount of your net worth with friends or family?
• Have you felt the need to ‘Keep up with the Jones’?
• Were you raised by parents who implemented an ‘allowance’?  Did you have to earn it?  What happened to the money you were given?
• Do you or members of your household shop or browse stores to burn time or as a form of entertainment?
• Financially speaking, are you at the point you thought you would be 5 years ago?
• How much influence do you think your parents had on your spending habits?
• What financial goals do you need to satisfy to be able to say you’re living comfortably?
